Santa Cristina, in Italy (in the Trentino-Alto Adige region), is a large resort with 15 lifts (7 chairlifts, 5 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1458 metres (4783 feet) of vertical descent. Santa Cristina has 175 kilometers (109 miles) of pistes. Santa Cristina is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 17.7 kilometers (10.0 miles) of cross-country ski trails at Santa Cristina. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. Over half of the pistes at Santa Cristina are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airports are in Verona and Innsbruck and the nearest train station to Santa Cristina is at Bolzano / Bressanone. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Santa Cristina.
