Mt Palandöken or Ejder 3200 (the combined name for this and Konaklı ski resort) is in the northeast part of Turkey and has an altitude of 2000-3176 m. The area offers skiing opportunity for 5 months from November to April. With its snow quality, long runs and mechanical facilities it is one of the most important ski centers in the world. The ski center is just 15 km away from the airport and 4 km from the city center. Transportation to the ski center is easy and safe. Mt Palandöken offers ski-run alternatives of all difficulty levels to ski lovers. There are 10 chairlifts, 1 tele ski, 2 baby lifts and 1 gondola. The ski center has 7 easy, 8 middle range and 2 professional runs in addition to 4 natural runs. It is convenient for alpine discipline and snowboarding. Snow depth is 2-3 meters and skiing area is 2390 Ha. Thanks to artificial snowing system and snow slide prevention systems offering safe and comfortable skiing joy. There are too many accommodation alternatives at the ski center. There are 2 hotels with 5 stars, 2 hotels with 4 stars and 1 with 3 stars. Total bed capacity is 2681. Besides there are 2 and 3 star hotels at the city center which is very close to Mt Palandoken.
