Starting at 11:00 AM, a free “witch’s potion” will be served at the small ice rink in the enchanted winter wonderland in Söll at the Hexenwasser gondola station, while at the same time the Ski Cinema in the old farmhouse “Hexerei” on the Keat slope will be open from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. From 11:30 AM, “T.B.G. by Da Vinci Family” invites you to a party coffee gathering with hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, before the Tenner Stadl in Hopfgarten rounds off the afternoon with lively après-ski vibes starting at 1:00 PM. Great place with good variety. Not too busy. The Spieljoch gondola takes you up to the top where you can stay all day, or do the longest valley return run in the Zillertal (a 7km red) which takes you all the way back to the village. Restaurant at the gondola middle station in recommended. The gondola base station is beside the ski bus stop (every 15 minutes for the trip to Hochfugen) which is a bigger area, with a link to Kaltenbach, next door. Good nursery areas, numerous reds and several blacks. Ski-pass covers the whole valley, so like wilco says, you can try out Zell, Mayrhofen, Hintertux (glacier open all year) for something different. We are going back.
