Guía de Estación de Esquí Tysovets

Tysovets resort is located 32km from the closest train station at Skole (Lviv oblast) and most visitors, who arrive from Kiev, take a taxi from there. There are actually two small ski areas 2km apart and, unfortunately, they have different tickets. Tysovets resort is an old Soviet Olympic training base and there are defunct ski jumps to remind visitors of this. Fortunately, the prices still reflect the cheap Soviet days. On the downside, the lifts at Tysovets are old and slowish, leading to queues at weekends and there isn't a lot of variety in the skiing, with just 200m of vertical.
