Trysil, in the East region of Norway, is a large resort with 29 lifts that offers skiers an impressive 685 metres (2247 feet) of vertical descent. Trysil has 68 pistes. Trysil is evenly suited for both advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarders but with much terrain for beginners. There are 86 kilometers (54 miles) of cross country ski trails at Trysil. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and 2 half pipes. A small proportion of the pistes at Trysil are covered by snowmaking. The closest airport is at Oslo but the transfer time is 2.5 hours. The nearest train station to Trysil is at Elverum. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Trysil.
