Treetops in the United States (Michigan State) is a small ski resort with just 5 ski lifts ( 3 chair lifts, 2 surface lifts) with only 69 metres (225 feet) of vertical descent. Treetops has 80 acres of terrain over 23 trails. Treetops is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 13 kilometers (8 miles) of cross country ski trails at Treetops. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park. The majority of the trails at Treetops are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Traverse City.
