Yesterday, With a couple of inches of fresh snow at the summit, patrol was able to open more terrain including all trails off the Lakeview Triple and all trails down from Whiplash to Debbie Sue. The snow was on the heavy side but it felt nice to have more terrain to explore! The temps are warming up and snow in the Village is spring-like and a bit stickier the lower you go. A mix bag of precipitation is predicted today, so prepare for surfaces to stay on the firm to moist side. Go with a midweight shell and waterproof glove; use a darker lens for the flat, cloudy light.
