It’s a lovely, chilly morning with light clouds and calm winds. It looks like this last day of March will be pretty mellow as we usher in our last month and week of the winter season. Yesterday’s new snow was skiing deeper in some wind-loaded spots, although not bottomless. The older, firmer stuff underneath fought back with every turn and was certainly not for the faint of heart. Cloudy skies, light winds and temps in the 30s will keep the snowpack mostly dry and firm. Expect the groomers to be chalky and fast with some soft spots lingering on less traveled aspects. Not a good resort for the disabled. Parking is far away from the lifts. If you're disabled go elsewhere.
