The snowpack has taken a hit this week with higher-than-average temps and rain, and it looks like this pattern will hold for the next couple of days. Yesterday's rain held off and left the snow soft from top to bottom, and we're likely to see more of the same today, with mellow cruising still possible. We're kicking off with the full front side open and the Colburn Triple turning in the back, so there's still plenty of surface to enjoy on the hill. As conditions evolve, stay tuned for updates throughout the morning–we're optimistic about some solid turns and keeping the vibe light on the hill. desde Schweitzer Mountain
