Pruggern in Austria is a medium sized ski resort with 6 ski lifts (1 gondola, 1 chair lift, 4 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1295 metres (4250 feet) of vertical descent. Pruggern has 111 acres of terrain over 6 pistes. Pruggern is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 7 kilometers (4.4 miles) of cross country ski trails at Pruggern. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe. Over half of the pistes at Pruggern are covered by snowmaking.
