Enchanting alpine village. Absolute beginners on skis so needed instructors prepared to take on "oldies" gently. Found them (will spare them the embarrassment of naming them) with Altitude. We had a super time start to finish. Walked all the way to Mary's Cafe which was warm and welcoming. The Bernahof Hotel was too. Such lovely people also at Skiset. How blessed were we. Going back in March. Another year older and another adventure as we hope to go up to Murren this time. Happy Christmas, Wengenites. Have a good one, Elsa-Marie and Hugh Kitching XX
