Sorenberg (or Sörenberg), in Switzerland (in the Central region), is a large resort with 20 lifts )2 gondolas, 2 chair lifts, 16 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1294 metres (4244 feet) of vertical descent. Sorenberg (or Sörenberg) has 30 pistes with a total length of 50 kilometers (31 miles). Sorenberg is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for both expert and intermediates. There are 38 kilometers (24 miles) of cross country ski trails at Sörenberg. For snowboarders, there is a half pipe. As far as we are currently aware, there are snowmaking facilities at Sorenberg (or Sörenberg). The nearest airport is at Bern.
