Red Lodge Mountain in the United States (Montana State) is a medium sized ski resort with 8 ski lifts (7 chair lifts, 1 surface lift) that offers skiers an impressive 731 metres (2399 feet) of vertical descent. Red Lodge Mountain has 1600 acres of terrain over 71 trails with a total length of 200 kilometers (125 miles). Red Lodge Mountain is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Red Lodge Mountain. About one third of the trails at Red Lodge Mountain are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Billings.
