Monte Bondone in Italy (in the Trentino region) is a small ski resort with just 5 ski lifts but it does boast a very impressive 915 metres (3002 feet) of vertical descent. Monte Bondone has 173 acres of terrain over 17 pistes. Monte Bondone is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders with some terrain for beginners but little of interest for advanced skiers. There are 38 kilometers (24 miles) of cross country ski trails at Monte Bondone. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park. All of the pistes at Monte Bondone are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Bolzano and the nearest train station to Monte Bondone is at Trento.
