The Lillehammer mountains are so well-located that the network of skiing trails alone will provide you with a suitable challenge. The Lillehammer mountains are perfect for those who love skiing. Nordseter and Sjusjoen were originally mountain farming areas, now they area among northern Europe's best cross-country skiing resorts. The Lillehammer mountains are situated about 850 metres above sea level and 15-20 kilometres from Lillehammer town centre. They can offer about 350 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails and direct trails between Nordseter and Sjusjoen to Lillehammer, the Hafjell area and the Olympic trails at the Birkebeineren Skiing Stadium.
