Gunstock in the United States (New Hampshire State) is a medium sized ski resort with 8 ski lifts (5 chair lifts, 3 surface lifts) that offers skiers a respectable 427 metres (1400 feet) of vertical descent. Gunstock has 220 acres of terrain over 50 trails. Gunstock is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 50 kilometers (31 miles) of cross country ski trails at Gunstock. For snowboarders, there are one or more terrain parks and one or more half pipes. The majority of the trails at Gunstock are covered by snowmaking. The nearest airport is at Massachusetts.
