Civetta, in the Veneto area of Italy, is part of the Dolomiti SuperSki area. It is a large resort with 23 lifts and offers skiers an incredible 1100 metres (3609 feet) of vertical descent. The ski area includes Alleghe, Selva di Cadore, Palafavera and Zoldo. Civetta has 43 pistes with a total length of 80 kilometers. There's 50 kms of cross country ski trails at Civetta. Civetta also offers night skiing.

    Fantastic traditional Italian resort only 1.5 hours from Venice or Treviso airports.

    Most runs are sheltered below the treeline, providing spectacular views of the majestic Civetta and Pelmo mountains. Ideal for intermediates and beginners.

    Friendly locals and very reasonable food and drink prices.

    Night skiing from the Pecol gondola is an added bonus.

    Very quiet slopes during the week, almost like having the resort to yourself. Busier at weekends but still no major queues.

    For a challenging day out, the Sellaronda is an hour's drive away with 426 km of slopes.
