Buttermilk is essentially Aspen-lite. This is where to go to learn to ski or to take it easy. The terrain at Buttermilk is moderate, with well-groomed runs on the outskirts of town. Buttermilk is well-loved by 'carving' snowboarders. There are a total of 112 beds located at the base of the mountain. Another 14,000 are located within a ten mile radius of Buttermilk.
