Beautiful pass between Switzerland and Italy in Springtime. The empty lake is Lac des Toules. The Italian side of the pass leads to the Aosta Valley where the ski resorts of Alagna Valsesia, Breuil-Cervinia, Courmayeur, Crévacol, Etroubles, La Thuile, Pila and Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses can be found. Due to their altitde >2500m, good skiing can be found throughout the season.
