Shizukuishi, in Japan (located in the Iwate prefecture), is a large resort with 9 lifts (1 cable car and 8 chair lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 850 metres (2788 feet) of vertical descent. Shizukuishi has 346 acres of terrain over 15 pistes. Shizukuishi is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is a also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Shizukuishi. The nearest airport is at Hanamaki and the nearest train station to Shizukuishi is at Shizukuishi. There is accommodation located close to the pistes but we would welcome additional information about any hotels or chalets in Shizukuishi.
