Nestled on the edge of the Grand Mesa, just 35 miles from Grand Junction, Powderhorn has exceptional views with a friendly personal atmosphere. In its unique location, where the desert meets the mountain, you will find red cliffs, canyon country and vineyards less than an hour away from the snowy slopes. The family resort of Powderhorn is best known for its hassle free days and modern base area facilities. You won’t spend your day waiting in long lift lines. Powderhorn is proud of its groomed corduroy but there are plenty of challenging bumps and trees to play in too. Powder stashes can be found all day on the uncrowded slopes at Powderhorn. The Inn at Wildewood, the only ski-in/out lodging property at Powderhorn , offers accommodations for up to 50 guests. The Inn features renovated deluxe and mini-suites. A luxury condo is also available that sleeps up to 10 people. All rooms have a private bath, TV, microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee maker. You can relax on the spacious deck or in the family room and unwind in the hot tub and sauna.
